What you don’t hear often enough is how important your role as a Project ALERT teacher is in preventing drug abuse.  Your classroom skill in adapting the curriculum to the background and experiences of your students and community is what makes you so valuable to the prevention process.

Project ALERT welcomed 2,200 new classroom teachers during the 2008-09 school year.  Together you will make a huge difference in the lives of youth!
