Custom Workshops
|
One-day, in-person workshops are available for groups of 25 up to
a maximum of 32 participants. Customized training to address specific
needs can be provided at your site on the day you select. A certified
Project ALERT trainer will guide you through the curriculum in a highly
participatory and interactive process.
The workshop morning is filled with the pedagogy of Project ALERT
and the research behind it. Role-plays and practicing learning strategies
integral to the curriculum involve everyone. Educators have a lot
to contribute to the interactive nature of the workshop, so much of
the afternoon is spent discussing the curriculum and your specific
needs.
All curriculum materials are shipped to the workshop host, district
or educational service center that sponsors the workshop and should
be distributed prior to the workshop date.
Individual workshop participants are encouraged to Pre-register online.
This helps confirm attendance. Pre-registration also establishes your
online user account and activates access to online training and support
services. Online training access is provided for workshop trained
educators so that they may review and refresh skills on any aspect
of the training at any time.
